Jim Blakely is the EVP & COO of the Society of Physician Entrepreneurs (SoPE) and the SoPE Foundation. Jim has over 30 years of experience in brand management, strategic planning, sales, marketing, and product management across a broad set of industries, including eCommerce, publishing, telecommunications, high tech and commercial real estate. He has held management positions with Fortune 500 companies such as Bell Atlantic and ADC telecommunications and a "Big 4" consulting firm. In addition, he has been involved with several start-ups, such as Simplexity, where he served as Director of Strategic Development and played a key role in the launch of the company's industry leading telecommunications marketplace. Prior to co-founding SoPE, Jim served as the CMO of ENT Resources, Inc., the for profit subsidiary of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS).
