SEATTLE CHAPTER

The Society of Physician Entrepreneurs is a not-for-profit 501(c)6 biomedical and global healthcare innovation network. The mission of SoPE is to enable healthcare entrepreneurs to drive their innovation to market by providing them with a network of industry partners who can offer the necessary education, and connections to facilitate the development and commercialization process necessary for successful entrepreneurship. Albeit, the term physician is in our name, we welcome all disciplines of allied health professionals, including nurses, physician assistants, chiropractors, dentists, and biomedical scientists and engineers. Meeting attendees include, healthcare entrepreneurs, attorneys, biomedical consultants, and various other investors, service providers, and industry representatives.

Our goal is to hold a minimum of 6 meeting annually. Based on interest and availability of speakers we often meet more frequently. Our meetings are held mid-week, in the evenings. Our meeting format includes three sections, networking, subject matter expert, and a presentation by a healthcare entrepreneur.

Individuals may attend one meeting free as a guest of ours, after which you will be expected to join SOPE. SOPE membership entitles you to attend our chapter meetings for free. Potential business sponsors will be charged $100 to attend the first meeting and will have that amount deducted from sponsorship costs.
